Tournament Schedule for WSOPE 2008 announced

The tournament will take place in LCI’s prestigious venues in London from September 19th to October 2nd. The 2007 event featured 623 entrants competing for £1,305,215 over 3 tournaments. The main event saw Norway’s Annette Obrestad win the largest amount ever for a female, £1 million, beating Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth and Johnny Chan.

The tournament comprises of four bracelet events. The tournament kicks off with the new £1,500 no-limit tournament lasting 3 days on September 19th. This is then followed on September 22nd by the £2,500 3 day H.O.R.S.E. event, with the 3 day £5,000 Pot Limit Omaha event starting on September 24th, and ending with the £10,000 World Championship No-Limit Hold’em event starting on September 27th and running for 5 days. If that isn’t enough there will also be five non-bracelet events as well as satellites and non-stop cash games at London Clubs International casinos, The Rendezvous, The Casino at the Empire (in the famous Leicester Square), The Sportsman, Fifty, and the Golden nugget.
