A professional English poker player and author, Neil Channing was a bookmaker at UK racecourses before turning into a pro poker player. Neil was previously sponsored by pokerverdict.com, won the Irish Poker Open 2008 and is a regular columnist for BLUFF Europe Magazine. Having set up his own site, Black Belt Poker, in 2009 Neil is now a sponsored pro at blackbeltpoker.com, but also known for sponsoring other players, such as James Akenhead in the 20009 WSOP November Nine final. His total live tournament winnings as of the end of 2008 exceeded $1,900,000. $346,520 of those winnings were a result of 17 cashes at the WSOP.
