Englishman Jon Kalmar is a professional poker players who mainly frequent clubs in the north and midlands of England. Prior to the last World Series of Poker, Kalmar had admitted to a terrible run of luck at the event. Failing to cash at any of the preliminary tournaments he was about to return home, when fate led him to enter the last mega-satellite just before the start of the main event. He ended up winning a $10,000 seat. To date Jon has had 17 cashes and 2 first place finishes with total winnings estimated at around $1,593,923.
