London born Joseph "Joe" Beevers is an professional poker player sponsored by Full Tilt and a member of The Hendon Mob. Enjoying a lengthy career in poker, Beevers was a pioneer of televised poker and made 3 finals on the Late Night Poker series. He also won the Poker Million in 2007. Starting off as a blackjack player, Beevers moved into poker and started playing a regular seven-card stud game where he estimates his winnings to be around £35,000. By the time he graduated he was making enough from his poker winnings and tuition that he avoided the more conventional world of office work.
